Central Board of Secondary Education invites online application
for University Grant Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) commonly known
as UGC NET December, 2014 examination for Junior Research Fellowship &
Eligibility for Assistant Professor.
The UGC has
assigned to the CBSE the responsibilities for
conducting the UGC-NET first time. UGC NET examination is conducted two
times in a year by the University Grants Commission for the position of
Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor for various Indian
Universities and Colleges.
Eligibility: Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer / Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

How to apply: The eligible and Interested candidates who wish to appear in upcoming
UGC-NET examination, they may apply online through CBSE website www.cbsenet.nic.in from 15th October,
2014.
